Valerie DeLaune has a degree in Forestry/Recreation/Interpretation from the University of Washington. As an Alaskan for 37 years, she catches her own fish, dances with wolves, runs away from charging moose, and wrestles with grizzly bears (OK, she doesn’t really do the last one, at least not yet, but she has seen plenty of them and so far have had peaceful relationships with both black and brown bears). She can’t see Russia from her house, but she can see her outhouse. In her free time she loves to downhill ski, snowshoe, hike, camp, backpack, kayak, boat, fish, and dance.
Valerie is also the author of twelve self-help books on trigger point pain relief (see TriggerPointRelief.com). She also writes health care articles for medical journals and magazines, and newspapers, and teaches continuing education workshops for health care providers.
